Subject: compliments to your staff
Dear sr. Maciel,
I recently stayed at your hotel in Vallarta. (1/11-8/11) I was very pleased by the professional, courteous service I received from your staff. I was especially impressed by Humberto Camacho Valdez. He was helpful at every opportunity and expressed himself politely fluently in English. It is clear to me that Sr. Valdez enjoys his career, and that he will move upwards within the corporate structure of you enterprise, should he desire to do so. He is a distinct asset to your hotel.
I will return to stay at the Hotel Emperador in Vallarta, and this decision is in part, due to the excellent service I received from Sr. Valdez.
Regards,
Michael Popso

great hotel
We just spent a month in Mexico, all up and down the coast. We stayed at the El Pescador to begin and end our trip. It is spotless, the staff is very helpful, and the pool is great. We watched whales spouting from our deck chairs. We liked the city view rooms better than the ocean view. They seemed more like you were really in Mexico. The tile showers were very large, and the closets were huge. The room stayed nice and cool. The ocean view rooms are smaller and look like any chain hotel.

Amazing!
We had a wonderful time here. The staff was helpful, the hotel was clean, and the view was to die for. El Pescador is located close to the Malecon for easy exploring.

I have stayed at Posada de Roger a dozen+ times over the years. Some rooms are better than others (larger, airier, more quiet, darker, smaller, sunnier, better beds or bathroom configuration). The front desk staff is helpful, the maid service friendly, Fredy's El Tucan the best breakfast in town. The small rooftop pool is one of the few in Old Town that gets sun all day long. Tiny refrigerators can now be rented for small additional daily charge. All rooms have A/C, overhead fan, TV on satelite, private bathrooms. The place is clean, clean, clean and safe. Free lockboxes available at reception desk. Pretty patio and courtyard plantings. What more could you ask for under $50USD in a popular resort town?

We are a family of five. Three teenagers. Traveled in July /04 The Roger was basic but very accommadating. Two queens and a single bed. Third floor, room 300 with sound proof balcony doors,on the quiet side. Very friendly desk clerks Great deal

Great Location, price, clean
We stayed here just a few weeks ago and loved it. This is in a great location if you are interested in walking around the old town area and not interested in just being at the beach resorts. You are 2 blocks from the beach, great restaurants (try Takos Panchos next for fast, cheap, excellent food), and stores. Right across the street is a bakery, and a little natural health food store too. Don't miss the cool open-air kitchen (with community fridge) on the 4th floor with a great view. If you are trying to budget travel you can always make your own meals, coffee, or snacks. This is a very pleasant place to eat. There is also a small very nice pool, and a great courtyard with tables. Overall for the budget price, the location, the cleanliness, the friendly staff, and the good breakfast place next door this is an excellent choice. There is one thing to note...

wonderful first time
This was our first trip to Mexico and within 24 hours we were planning our next trip to PV. The folks at Posada Roger are the best. All very friendly and helpful. Not a real "fancy" hotel but the courtyard, pool, community kitchen, location, and view from the roof terrace make this a "best for the price" hotel. You cannot go wrong.

Posada Roger
Nice hotel with friendly atmosphere and people. Perfect location for great nightlife, eating out, downtown shopping, and nearby beaches. I liked staying here much better then the fancy resort on the beach I have stayed at. Nice meals downstairs in the restaurant for just several dollars. What a great city, I felt like crying after leaving. Can''t wait to go back.

Hotel Rosita

irish on holiday
Stayed in an ocean view room with terrific views . The service was excellent and hotel is right were every thing is happening. Had one of the simplist, cheapest and best holidays ever. Will treasure memories of here and think of them during our cold and wet Irish winters! Plan to go back some time in the future stage

Clean, great location!
My husband and I stayed there and we loved the location. Close to everything! Located right on the malecon. Hotel Rosita is not a resort (doesn't have that artificial feel). I'm told it's the oldest hotels in P.V. and is Mexican owned. Hotel receptionists speak English, (which I loved)! Hotel Rosita is CLEAN, has great service, and economically priced. During Christmas, the staff really made us feel welcome and at home. The pool is wonderful. We'll be back.

A super place for a PV vacation
Our families have been staying here off and on for almost 30 years or maybe more, and an excellent value hotel, great location, wonderful rooms, a very caring and helpful staff, concerned and responsible owners, clean and honest, the Hotel Rosita is a real gem. We don't consider staying any other place. And as we are in the hospitality business, we know a good property that meets our high standards.
